I've been interested in getting a new set of bodywork for my black speedy. Color didn't matter because I want to repaint it all black and do some ghost flames anyway. I just won two auctions on Ebay. A fellow had a brand new silver tank taken off an 02 and never used, and a brand new matching front fender taken off the same bike. I got the tank for about $70, and the front fender for about $50. Seems like a screaming deal. I've seen damaged ones selling for more than that. All I should need to do is remove the clear and tank decals, rough up the factory paint a bit, and repaint.

The seller didn't have the rear bodywork though, so if anyone knows someone selling just the rear, please let me know.

I too thought it was a bargain. I also got one of the service manuals (CD version) for the speedy for .01! There is $4.95 shipping on top of the penny, but still seems like a great deal. I've used the maint. CD's on my BMW's and really like them. It's nice to be able to blow pictures up and print only the pages you want to have with you while you're working on the bike.

JustJeff I got one of those .01 manuals off of eBay too and its great! They even had the courtesy to put one of those circular labels on the burned cd instead of just using a sharpie :-D

I was wondering if it might be a burned copy. I bought one for a BMW last year though, and it was the actual BMW disk, came in the right case and everything. As long as it's a copy of the real deal I won't complain if it turns out the seller is a pirate I suppose.
