I had my 06' speedy fitted with new pistons and seals. They felt like poo!! The lever went to the bar way worse than before on settings 2 through 4. Setting 1 on the lever felt OK. I left the bike @ the dealer and told them to re-bleed them. What to do now? Gengras Triumph in Hartford CT sells triumph t-shirts for $70 and hoodies for $158. Guess there not Cheap approved.

$70 for a shirt? Thats insane. A dealership that charges way more than MSRP for anything is shifty in my eyes and I'd have to question the quality of their service.

Are you sure they actually replaced the pistons and seals?

the fix was not completed properly, bottom line. if it was, you would not be experiencing this issue.

take it back or take it to another dealer. demand they fix it the correct way.

I have been told by my dealer that to properly bleed these calipers they have to be removed from the mounts and turned so the air goes to the bleeder screw as they push the pistons back in. They have had this problem with MV Agusta a few years back and learned this back then. It sounded good to me :???:

Do anyone know which stealer(oops) do a good job in replacing pistons in NY?

Do anyone have detail instructions in bleeding brakes correctly?

Thanks in Advance
