Sometimes you could find a whole set of parts in new condition for a song on ebay, if the owner changes to a tribal kit. Dunno if triumph do a green tribal though.

Why not simply paint the parts you have?

yeah thats another idea...BUT i would probably get some type of burnt orange or something that nobody else has. if i could find the green for a good deal i'd jump on it.

I changed mine out to roulette green for a pretty good price. Now, I'm trying to sell my old set of black. I wouldn't paint the parts, even though lucifer orange would be awesome color to have, because the Triumph paint finish is really good and would be really hard to match.

Now that is funny.
This is the softest paint I have ever seen.

True that! i have a month old bike and my tank has tons of small sratches on it from my blue jeans and leather jacket. ming you, no zipper or other hard part has touched it. Just leather and fabric

I had mine about a year before I selected the exact color I wanted. I had the parts painted, and now couldn't be happier.

I thought about that too but wanted the white. Thought it would be neat to swap the white for the black now and then back when I got bored.
The plastic painted tank gets scratched easily.
If someone ever made metal tank (guess it would have to be veneer style) I would pay huge money for it :hammer:
