So, I have two Great Danes, I didn't want puppies, but my wife wasn't too diligent in keeping the dogs separated. So my dog gets knocked up. Being a Great Dane, the dog has no problem getting into the sink to "help clean the dirty dishes" right. So this week she stops eating and starts throwing up this nasy yellow vomit. (no paint joke intended, but it was spot on!). So we take her to the vet, x-rays don't show anything, but the vet was sure there was an obstruction of some sort. We were told that the options were to have surgery to remove the obstruction, or put the dog down with all 5 puppies. And to make it interesting, there's a good chance that she won't make it through surgery anyway. So I call up the vet to tell him to put her down, it's an awful lot of money to put down when it's not likely she'll make it anyway. But I couldn't get the words out of my mouth. So we do the surgery and it ends up really good, she's fine and all 5 puppies seem to be doing good as well... So who wants a Great Dane? No charge other than shipping. :-D
