Hello all,
Discovered this forum while looking for information on Speed Triples. I have been browsing the last couple of days, lots of good information and stories. This
thread is tough. What a bummer.
Anyways I am looking for some advice. I am the second owner (2 months) of a 2000 speed triple. This is my first bike but I have worked on my cars.
Last night when I came home from work and pulled into the garage, radiator fluid was flowing out of the overflow pipe. It was a pretty steady stream that stopped soon after I turned off the engine. I added about 5 oz of water this AM and let it run. At first it seemed OK, but after about 5 minutes it started flowing again. I may have overfilled it though.
Is there anything I can check for or replace easily before I shell out some bills at a shop? I don't have a shop manual but I am going to see if I can find a Haynes this weekend.
