That sucks. But the haight, western addition and tenderloin are all s*it-holes. I never go there except for a rare food find. I've never seen so many bum's in my life in the haight.

I wouldn't doubt if your bike was in Oakland, another dump across the bridge.

Hey dead,
If yer lookin to get your bike back, you might try some of the local biker groups. Most of these guys are out on the streets all the time, and can find out a lot of stuff the cops just don't have the time or resources to follow up on.
There was an episode of the show 'Superbikes' on Speed the other day about the streetfighter scene in the bay area. They focused on this Irish guy who specializes in custom streetfighters. I don't remember the name of his shop, but he uses a brass knuckle logo on his work.
What I'm saying is let these people know about your bike, and they may be able to help you get it back - and catch the scum that took it.

OK, looks like I gave bad advice about the Irish streetfighter guy. Sorry.

Ha! Speed3 is recovered! Way out in Brisbane of all places.

Just in time too, as I have been leering suggestively at a KTM supermotard

Not too sure about what total damage, but I know for certain that the ignition and gas tank have been punched.

If there is painting to do I think I'm going custom.
