stopped by the shop yesterday to see what the status was on speedy...

brake job is complete! i got to look at the old pistons and they looked fine but i could easily see they did not have any coating on them. i got to see the new pistons and seals before they put them in and they were metallic looking. they also replaced the front pads since they said they were pretty worn down (8500 miles).

now if this sh1tty ass weather would clear the hell up i could go get speedy and ride the hell out of it.

I didn't get to see the new pistons, but you're right - the old ones looked, well, pretty ordinary. Never woulda known they were evil little bastards.
