As mentioned in an earlier post, I bought a carbon fiber seat cowl, but it doesn't come with the bolts. Can anyone with a rear seat cowl on their 1050 S3 give me the exact size of the bolts that I need to get? Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Don't know if it'll help until I take this description to the hardware store, but I appreciate the information.

go to a good hardware store and get a black hex head s.a.e. bolt and nut from them. the stock bolts don't work with the carbon cowls. they are not long enough.

did you get your carbon cowl from the guy in brazil?
cheers,
-b

i got the same one from them...its awesome work!...cheap too...i use the stock bolts that hold on the passenger strap(took it off)...they are threaded internally so i got the bolt to fit inside and hold it on like that...try it...also i just ordered the cf exhaust sheilds from them...

Haven't got mine in the mail yet, but also bought the radiator shields. The cf on both ends should look good, looking forward to getting them. Glad to hear you're happy with the cowl, Dirt.

Thanks Orca. I apologize for my ignorance, but I've never heard of this store before. I looked up their website and see they have a couple of locations near my office, so I'll give it a try.
