Hey all,
I fell down Sunday destroyed the headlights on my Triple. Imagine my surprise on finding out that the parts are over $500.00! The bracket that holds the headlights and instruments is $61.xx. The chrome trim rings are ~$50.00 each. The lights are ~$100.00 each and I forget what the housings cost but it is a lot and there other little pieces needed too. I may to make a street-fighter out of my street-fighter... :???:

Go check out the alien fairing from skyking. It is very cool - I can't remember the price though, but it seems as it was about the same. As a benefit, you get two elipsoid projectors, instead of the regular halogen reflectors. Then down the road you can drop in some HID modules and get some SUPER nice light.

Hey MCSP3,

If you want to save on the headlight inserts, they are standard H4 inserts, really very common. If you don't mind not having the Triumph logo in the glass, go to your local parts store and you can pick them up for a song. I had to replace one broken one here in Aus, $200 AUD for the Triumph, $15 AUD for a generic brand.

Not sure where Hinckley are going with the price of their parts, but my Harley is cheaper to buy parts for!

Mick

Thanks, They look good for $20USD, but they don't ship to Australia :-/
MCSP3, looks like the goods for you though!

When checking eBay, I usually also scan all the other sites. If you're looking for headlights, I've seen them on and off regularly on eBay.de, the German website. The other ones, UK and Aussie in particular, are also full of Triumph goodies.

For my Europe-bound T509 I got the Euro light switches in Germany, the Kph speedometer in Australia and some cool mirrors in the UK. Easy 'nuff.

$65.00 for shipping though. I am going to autoparts store this evening and see about some non-triumph inserts.
