why does triumph have a more comprehensive clothing line than motorcycle line, i'm mean this isn't harley, is it? i just got the new torque, i know there's already a thread about the dvd, but ***?? i wish the would but all the effort that goes into makeing cheap clothing with triumph plastered all over it into they're bikes, i mean, that is what they do right? and every thing from them that i actually like has way to much "triumph" all over it,, you want me to advertise, i do wheelies up and down every street, which i personally have been informed that my shenanigans have sold at least 3 bikes for the local dealership. "hey you know that guy with the black triumph, he was really nice then he left the light at warp speed on one wheel, he's good, i want what he's got" converted two scooters to real bikes, and one guy who just wanted whatever i had. anyway, you can pay me to wear that bull*****. ktm here i come. if they would just make the best bikes, hands down, they wouldn't need to advertise using homo's and twits

i couldn't find a single thing in that mag that was interesting about bikes. just a bunch of guys in full leathers and half helmets riding rockets. and who ***** cares what's on a forbes yacht, i never will be, and who cares what famous actor rides a bonneville, really piss me off./

I have only bought a couple of shirts from Triumph but I have to admit the quality is better than US bought shirts . Much softer and thicker. I like all the do dads they offer. Come to think about it I also bought a cigar tube that is stainless and is also better than expected quality.

Jr...relax...pop open a beer...Torque isn't a mag...it's a catalog. All the manufacturers know your not gonna buy a bike every month, but want to give ya an excuse to stop by the shop. EVERYone does "branding"...it IS annoying, but don't let it ruin your day! Some of the stuff is pretty good, if a bit pricey, and I don't see much diff. between a Triumph logo foisted upon me and ICON or JOE ROCKET written in 4 freakin foot high letters on my jacket. Logowear is one of those things that keep a dealer profitable & interested in supporting the line.

BTW, if U hated the catalog, don't watch the DVD...it def. has the GAYEST sound track EVER. If I ever associate a ride with that *****, I'll kill myself.

I don't know if a BJ will help Mr. Russell at this point.

I think he needs to heal up and get back on the bike! :-D

I personally like the Triumph gear that I have bought. I think it's a great quality product. Granted, some of it is a bit steep on price, so I usually wait for a sale or something....

Now, those girls on the Triumph Lingerie site are looking very, very nice. :wow:

Hey, they had a really good historical write-up about the death of the 955i that went back to the T509/595 and up to the 06 955i that was fun to read. I have to think they're going to have a new big Daytona hiding in the shadows though and when that comes out they'll have another huge article about it, just like they did the 675.

Most manufacturer mags are just circle jerks anyway. Hey wow, we're real great. (everyone gives a pat on each other's back)

At least its not Harley and its definitely a LOT more community oriented and aimed at the customers than the jap crowd. Hell, trying to get your bike fixed by the big four is like trying to squeeze blood from a stone. I had a friend whose brand new 06 R6 literally blew a hole in the front of the motor after only like 300 miles. A rod shot through and sprayed oil all over the road, nearly making him crash on a sunday ride. Luckily, we were riding in a large group of like 15 people, so he got a pickup quickly to take it to the dealer. However, it took the dealer and manufacturer months before he finally started groaning about Lemon Law and they finally gave him a brand new bike.

I have a Triumph Genetix Jacket.... and Im very glad I got it! I was looking at a bunch of other leather jackets in the local bike shop..... all the stuff seemed to be way to thin and cheaply made. The Triumph jacket is THICK leather and built tuff! Also, as for the branding..... the only Triumph marks on it are on the zipper pulls and a small little rubber patch about 2 inches long on the waist band.

I don't think that there's a mc manufacturer anywhere that doesn't also sell branded clothes. Granted, some sell more than others (Ducati & Harley come to mind), but Triumph isn't ALL about fashion. Hell, at least they don't host a NATIONAL FASHION EVENT like Ducati does. Now THAT's gay.

btw, here's a KTM item for ya.
