How do I open the front seat?

On my four, it was turn key and it all came off. On the s3 the key opens the rear only. Or am I missing something?

Sorry, my dealer is new and the only triumph guy was out today when I took delivery.

Take care

Can't just use the key for the front. You need to remove the rear and then undo the bolts that hold on the front.

Skyking is supposed to be making a quick-release option for the front seat. He said it would probably be in the Fall sometime.

OOH. me want!

Of course doesn't it figure that they shoved the owners manual under there - you know, the book that would tell you how to get the seat off

On a related note - related because I think the dealer's porter couldn't figure out how to get the seat off, th ebattery wasn't charged - at least I hope that's it because when starting, it's like churn, pause, churn, pause... so on for about 10 turns of the crankcase then turns over. I've hooked it up to my battery tender overnight.

My speed four was like, crack, on.

How are yours in starting?

Mine takes 1-2 cranks and it's on.

I was just thinking of a quick release for the seat, now that I have the TuneBoy up and running I'm forever removing the seat to get the the plug.

As for starts, it cranks longer than a carbureted bike will, thats the nature of fuel injection.

Well to help excuse the longer cranking, the triple has more mass to move than the four so there's that, but I wonder if I just have crap gas. I haven't had a chance to drive it off yet - this is the stuff that was in the tank from the dealer. Been a busy week, only drove 30 miles... i got the itch!
