Dropped off Veronica today for the Brake fix and got to talkin' Ducatis with the sales guy. Our dealer here has six sold already (deposits down, waiting on the bikes). One of the buyers works with The Redhead. He's been off bikes for seven years and told her he just had to have this one. Obviously, the hype is generating some mad interest.

He's getting insurance through Progressive. The tab? $3,000 for a year's worth.

My Speed Triple's still the only one in the area, and suddenly my insurance bill doesn't seem that bad. I'm likin' it more and more :-D

I've already pimped the cat ! If I got one I would just sit there looking at the thing especially the 's' version with carbon.

Just beautiful in a way only a Ducati can be.

The japanese may have it when it comes to tech know how but the Italians still have that 'wow' factor when it comes to design also seen Ducati Hypermotard.

Having owned a couple of the lastest litre bikes or close enough to them I can safely say its the only thing that would get me back to clipons. But I think Ill wait and see if they make a monster out of it. And another but, I really, really love my speedy. Not sure why but I do.

I think it's going to be a major hit for ducati. Even I want one.

It might be my next bike, that a s2r1000 monster

But i wont be able to buy one, everyone has globbled them up.

Should be able to get 999's cheaper thou. But ive seen those suckers go for 20k on ebay.. Who is going to pay for that when you can get this bike for 14k!

The 1098 is a beautiful bike. But I really want a KLR-650 next more than any other bike.
