I posted a while back about a ’95 S3 that I was turning into a track bike and thought I’d give an update. I had the spring on the rear suspension replaced with something more “weight appropriate” by the good folks up at Traxxion Dynamics. As soon as I find another few hundred bucks, the front will be rebuilt by them with new springs as well. I have also put a set of Skyking sliders on it for good luck. I have a set of ZRX1200 6 piston front brake calipers sitting in the garage ready to bolt on and am waiting on the stainless brake line from an ’06 S3 to come in before I bolt all of that together.

I took her down to Jennings at the beginning of the month for my 2nd track day (first on the S3) and had a blast. I had a set of Diablo Corsas installed at the track and I loved them. I was going to try a set of Pilot Powers, but all they had were the Races and I wanted a bit more street life out of the tires.

Here is one of the better pics!

Whiplash,

One of your pics is on your computer's C drive, the other 3 just point to "http://www.triumphrat.net/null". To start, the pictures all must be hosted somehwere online (examples: in Triumphrat.net's photo albums, or on Photobucket, etc).

Once online, right click over the picture and click on properties. Then copy the URL address of the picture. Using the below, paste the URL address and you've done it.

You can't post a picture that is located on your hard drive, you need to use something like >> Photobucket << to host your pictures. Then when you post them here all you are actually posting is a link which displays the pictures you have saved online..

Don't feel bad, Whiplash - every one of us seems to go through this difficulty. I find it hard to understand why we can't be like other forums that just allow members to hit the "image" button to add an image from anywhere, rather than go through all this hoopla to put a picture in our posts. But then again, I've never set up any kind of forum, so maybe that's why I don't understand.
Okay, venting mode off.

here ya go whip.

you've got it hosted, so all you need to do is right click on the pic, go to properties, copy the url address, come back to your post, click on the tab, and past the address in there, and you're done. Sounds more complex than it is. :hammer:
