Who has them on? What do you think? What's another good tire combo? Whats a good price for a set?

I just wore a set out in about 65% as many miles as it took me to wear out the stock Pilot Powers. They stuck well, but so did the Pilot Powers. They're a little slower steering than are the Pilot Powers. Because of the wear and steering differences, I prefer the Pilot Powers.

Slower steering? Are you sure you didn't go from a 180 pilot power to a 190 Corsa III?

Hey Legg, get a copy of SportRider on the newsstand still. It has a nice piece about Dunlops vs. Michelins. Not much help with Pirellis but you still might find the article usefull. It looks at each manufacturer's products from Sport Touring, to Street, to Hybrid, to DOT race, to full Race Slicks and talks about the various characteristics and specifications. Pretty cool. I was considering a pair of Corsas (soft compound) but I'm thinking I'll try a pair of the Pilot Power 2CTs next instead. I like my Pilot Powers, just want a bit more grip on the sides right before I lean it back up, power on and exit the turns.

best,
kjazz

The corsa III's are for 70% track and 30% street so they should wear faster than the pilot powers.

If you want mileage and only ride the street get the diablo's or pilot powers.

I had regular Diablo Corsas before my current Powers and they were great. They'd actually wheelie in the rain. Plus, I got around 4-5,000 miles on a rear or more and 6-9,000 on the front.

Yes, quite sure. Looking at the tires, I think the Pirelli has a rounder front tire profile than the Michelin, which is slightly more triangular.

Just now I am getting a Pilot Power 2 CT installed. The dealer said it is a 170 stock and is putting on a 170. Is that the correct size-I didi not look at it before I dropped it off. Is that the right size? OK??Should I get the 180?
