Been a while since I last posted, hope everything is going good here...
Anyway, some of you know I have one of the few "triple-tonas" on the board and the last piece to be converted was the bar swap..
This bike turned like a mother with the Sky-King clip ons but my shoulders would really bother me on long rides from the excessive leaned over position.
Any way after MONTHS of waiting for a set of risers, puttering on the board and on ebay I finally scored a set
Next step was a bar, went with the oh so pretty Renthal Ultra Low's in the grey finish (thanks santa :hammer: )
i painted the risers with this technique called "clear dusting" which kind of gives the finish an oem look anyway I'm babbling
Now for the fairly interesting part…. ALL the cables from the tona fit
All had to be re-routed a bit differently (took a few hrs to get it right). The brake line is a bit tight but I have a S3 good-ridge dual line waiting to go on as well. I would honestly have left it if I didn’t have the line.
Nothing is too tight nothing too loose (at least in my opinion), I was fairly surprised to tell you the truth. Only time will tell if this will cause problems but hell I'll be the guinea pig.
