Does anybody use this Ermax screen and if so does it do anything at all for wind protection? What do you think, Yea or Nay?

I like it. I don't think that it would afford anymore protection than the factory screen but it looks good. I like the fairing only because the instrument cluster is so fugly.

I think it looks alright. Doubt it offers much wind protection though, maybe in full tuck. I have the regular hat on mine, and I like the way it makes it look mad. Almost like it has horns, oh and I think that the bare instruments look out of place without it.

I made my own screen out of plexiglass. Mine is about two inches higher than that one and I noticed a difference in the wind protection (better). I think that one isn't high enough to justify the cost. Hardest part of making one is heating it up so it's soft and getting the correct curve to match the curve of the fly screen. I used 'industrial strength' velcro made out of plastic instead of cloth to fasten it to the back of the fly screen. Just three small pieces and you can't even see them and they have held at up to 140 mph.
I could lie like the 'others' and say 180 mph, or 203 mph. :wink: But then again, maybe my black (oh my Gawd) Speedy isn't as fast as theirs. :razz:
