OK, so if the case is only a rod bearing (which I hope in this case) does anyone know how much it will cost to have this remedied?? I haven't the tools or space to rip apart the motor myself and given the bike is already at the dealer, haven't them do it might be the simplest and quickest solution.

It all depends what they find in there. I still think you should let us know who sold ya the bike so we can set Benzo on 'em.

If I remember correctly, your bike has been at that dealer for over 2 weeks now.

Can't they give you a quote on the price you are requesting, or are you just trying to see what is fair???

If you don't have the tools or space to do it, then I think your options are limited.

Have them fix it and move on.
