Well....I finally got a shot to ride the 07 through the N. Ga twisties today...The new ECU is fantastic! The maps are more accurate and smooth. I was on my break-in run and it was my 1st time riding after the 06 was KIA so I did not push it. I did a nice (50ish) slow ride around the loop. I have TORS and a TuneBoy map with SAI in place. I could not believe the fuel economy! When I got home....

TRIP: 193 miles
AVG SPEED: 53
AVG MPG: 68.7!!!

I can't wait to see what it will do when it loosens up and I can push it harder. I'll bet I get 50 MPG when I ride it hard!

Sounds good mate.

It will be interesting to see comparisons of Dyno charts to see if they have robbed Peter to pay Paul in the power/fuel economy area.

Um, what color is your new one.[Green??]

Umm. Yea. You might want to make sure it's not set to imperial gallons. Mine was. I, too, though I was on some sort of miracle machine. So fast, yet so fuel efficient. Wrong. Oh well, it's still fast.

So, with the new ECU, are you running the factory map, or the Tuneboy map? If you are running Tuneboy, does the new ECU make any difference? And also if Tuneboy, what map are you using?

Glad you back at it.

Graham - I too have the '07 S3 and live in north GA. Where in GA are you? My buddy and his R6 are always skipping out on rides so I'm always looking for a riding partner. I live and work in Canton/Alpharetta.
