'05/'06 1050 S3 Header Pre-cat?

Am I right in assuming that a pre-cat (baffle) is installed somewhere in the collector/headers of the 2005/2006 1050 Speed III? Or is this simply the USA import models?

If it exists, where? And how difficult to remove? Having already put new race spec. slipons on my S3, would the removal of the pre-cat really improve my performance or exhaust tone?

I don;t think your ZA model has cats. And even if it did and you removed 'em your gains would be minimal. Better get a tuneboy and optimise the fuelling.
