can someone explain the "cush drive" to me?

The Cush Drive is inside your rear wheel hub. It's just a series of rubber cushions that absorb shock loading. This smooths out shifting and throttle action on the rear wheel.

You probably already know this, but tyre innertube, cut to size, is very good for taking slack out of sloppy cush drives

taking slack out of throttle cable also helps the cushiness

I took the slack out of the throttle a long time ago and switched up to an 05 throttle tube for the shortened twist. I'm thinking my chain is a bit gummy and my rubber bits in the swinger need serviced, lol.
