Are there any pitfalls to avoid when installing the Skyking sliders?

The only specialized tool is the torque wrench, right?

Besides the Torx socket you will need a long extension on a socket to hold the nut on the backside. It must reach across the motor from the off side. Other than that its a snap.

Read the directions carefully.. It's easy to swap sides on the top ones.. Both sides should stick out evenly and extend about 1 inch past the turn signals

the triumph tool kit has a tool that will hold the frame bolt from one side as you tighten (or loosen) with torque wrench. I had a bit of a hard time 'till I realized this. i didn't like the skykings... my knees bumped them while i rode.
