I recently picked up the Speed Triple in trade, it was a straight trade for my 03 KTM525sx. It's a 98 with only 4700 miles on it. Bike runs fairly decent, some off-idle stutter but the thing the drives me nuts is this shutter/vibration thing that happens somewhere around 3000-5000 rpms depending on if I'm accelerating up a hill or a flat. Seems to be related to the load on the machine. If I'm real delicate through that rpm range and riding on level ground no shudder.
I've seen some other comments around the web of some people having this same symptom, but have not seen any fixes. My guess is it's clutch-related.
Anyone know of a fix ?
