Actually they are Ken Sean mirrors url:

although they are pretty much identical to the Napoleans. $32 or $34 bucks shipped (I dont have the invoice handy).

Yes, they are dead easy to install, just remove the barends and then install the mirrors, I had to cut about an 1/8" or so off the end of the rubber to have them fit just right.

What a difference though, highly recommended!

Thanks for posting the picture. I was finally won over when I saw these bar ends didn't look too bad, and for $35 being able to actually see what's behind me should be worth it. So I just went and ordered my own.

Did you do anything to the old mirror mounts? I know the brake resevoir is attached to the right side one, but I'm just starting to think if & how I'll clean up the bars with the mirrors gone.

DiscoStu, here's one cheap and simple option:

turn the left clamp upside down. cautiously turn bars full left to confirm that there is sufficient space between the thingy and the tank.
then get a metric bolt that fits in the right side (M10 1.25 pitch), file the head to a smooth surface, paint it flat black and stick it in.

alternately, there are some nice decorative titanium bolts available on the internet to fill the holes. these are not so cheap.

some ti bolts

04SpdTrpSE gave me a pair of black delrin slot head screws that I installed into the threaded holes left by the OEM mirrors, they went in perfectly. The whole process of removing the OEM mirrors and installing the barends was not more than 15 minutes.

Take a look in the initial barend mirror thread in this forum, 04SpdTrpSE took some close up pictures of them.
