i have right at 1872 miles on the triple , and today when i put her in the garage i noticed on both front and rear tires a distinct line running in the tread of to the side about one third / two third split , both front and rear
but offset to different sides

looks like someone held a razor knife very lightly to the tire while turning


line is really pretty straight
can feel it in some spots when you drag a fingernail across it
most places it is just visible , will not catch a fingernail


this is a new one for me , any ideas

that's no biggie Henry, I've seen the exact line yer talk'n 'bout, maybe where they piece it together? :???: Not sure, but no worries, only thing you need to worry about is riding more! :hammer: :-D

that's the dual compound tread... I think it's more noticable on the Pirellii's moreso than the Michelin's but as others have said, not a thing to worry about.
