Rode a GSXR 600 today.... WOW! not comfy like speedy but would make for a good track weapon, and the sound is awesome. I did miss the torgue though, nothing till around 8K or so. Now I just need to go through my couch for some spare change, and my neighbors.... maybe the entire states.

If your going for a 600 why dont you support your brand and get a 675. I would love to have one. And all those magazines cant be wrong.

Hey Triple Rider, this forum is labelled as "Speed Triple Forum -- Rants and ravings about the best naked triple on the planet!" right? Now maybe I'm mistaken, but isn't your post a "rant and rave" about some Gixxer? Just asking.
:-D

Congratulations!

The GSXR-600 is a great bike, I am looking at the GSXR-750 for a track bike.

"if you had enough coin", Bucket???? Between just you and me...apparently there is easy money to be made from camping overnight on a pavement??? Sounds silly, I know, but I read somewhere about a guy doing it recently, queuing up for something he didn't even want. But its easy money...

I don't think i'd mind the 675 either, but i've always wanted a gixxer. I couldn't ride one all day and would never get rid of speedy to have one. The suzuki would be easier to maintain than the 675, more dealers and easily obtained parts. I think the 675 will gain popularity though.
