Styling preferences aside, wouldn't a low exhaust make more sense than replacing stock with another high exhaust system if considering weight placement and total weight. Are there other practical performance considerations I'm overlooking?? Thanks, kjazz

I really need to get a 32" Monitor so I can see big pics like that all at once.... :hammer:

No, you are right. For optimum weight placement and overall weight shavings, a single can mounted low is the way to go.

I personally like the look of two cans mounted up high.....I think it just looks bitchin.

However, Bucket's single can really does look sharp.

The low pipe makes a lot of sense in many ways. Another is installation of soft bags is much easier. Another is better passenger comfort. But lots of people feel it is stylistically challenged.

The low pipe avoids passenger to get poisoned with exhaust smell and shoes burned!

What really looks good in this Arrow system is the collectors...

That arrow system looks like it's a regular pipe with half of it cut off. It may sound goo though.

Mine's on order... Dealer says it should be here the first part of the year along with my Roulette Green body bits. It was a hard call giving up the twin under look, but every time I see it I love it more and more. Downside: $1300 +tuning. I'm installing the exhaust myself then bringing it to the dealer, so labor fees shouldn't be too bad. All in all it's not too bad for what your getting, the whole getup (including header) is titanium and rumored to be 16+ lbs lighter than stock.

How easy is it to get the wheel off with that exhaust?

yeah i think style is the main complaint about it,, but performance wise,, that's were you want to be,, to me though i want to see all of that rear wheel without the swingarm, but if someone gave me on for free i'ld put it on for sure. but spend 1300 pshhhh. plus the triple engine has a great bassy tone that i love,, i wonder if the arrow would make it sound more like a gixx with a yosh. where what i want is the dual devil carbon exhaust,, yeah it's huge, but it's lite and wayyyyy bassy.
