I am thinking about getting a Pitbull single side rear stand for my newly purchased S3.

I have used Pitbulls before and found them to be quality made, but have never used a single side one.

Can the rear wheel be removed while on the stand?

git the reversible pitbull stand, and you can remove the wheel, or work on the hub side, either one! :-D My pitbull stand is top quality! :-D

Recommendations on where to find a reversable online? Cheapest I have seen is $169+shipping. Anyone have a link for a lower price?

I got the plain ol' non-reversible one an' it works just fine. Dealer matched the best internet price I could find.

I'm also thinking that for cleaning and chain maintenance an' stuff, one o' these would be handy at only $45.

I'm going to grab the Powerstands "Mario" stand. The best price I've seen is here:

It's reversible and works on several different brands of motorcycles, so you'll be set if you buy the new Ducati 1098 :-D

I got the non-reversible like R100 did. I figured I could change the sprocket without a stand and that would be the extent of working from that side.
Pretty much just maintain the chain and pull the wheel so I can get new rubber mounted cheaper with the rim off the bike. Gotta get that front stand now that lifts front the steering stem.

That actually looks very nice. I would like to see a picture of the shaft that goes through the axle to make sure it is not junk, but the rest looks real nice.

Does anyone have one of these Powerstands?
