Well, I've been a member here for almost a year now. I've met some top blokes 'cause of this board, and even one's I haven't met, don't know what I'd do without ya fellas! Hell, Cheap would still have an ol' stock speedy if it wasn't fer alot of ya.

Thanks to Geof3 fer hook'n me up with my exhaust(second one from him actually! :-D ). Big thanks to Devi fer werk'n on my little project right now, and everything he does fer all of us here on the site. Just purchased a set of mirrors from OKCTriple this morning(he's already shipped them!!!, I should get 'em Friday!!!) fer a killer deal! I prolly wouldn't have jack sh*t fer my bike if it wasn't fer all of ya, so thanks fer all of the deals and help! :-D I promise I will return the favors one day whenever possible, or atleast try to pass on the goodwill to others! :-D

I've got to meet Kajota briefly before at Deal's Gap(didn't even know it until later! :hammer: ), and he seems like a stand up feller. Golfinc is a great guy and helped me greatly with the benefit ride I had a few months ago, and his new job must be keep'n him busy, 'cause I ain't seen him around lately. And yes, even that limey character is a stand up bloke and has helped the cheapster tremendously! So :chug: boys, you've made my speedy experience a great one so far, look forward to meet'n many more of ya!

Aw, Shucks.

I think I can speak for most everyone when I say that you add a lot to this site just by being a part of it.

Y'know, I'd say that this forum would probably have a far lower post total if it weren't for the Cheap One, but ya post on every other forum on the site too.

You're right about one thing, though - this place has been a tremendous source of info. My dealer has sold only one Speed Triple. Dobie's over in Jacksonville an' we got someone on here from the Pensacola area. They're probably the closest S3 owners around. Limey's way down in West Palm an' Hairball's terrorizin' my old stompin' grounds. And while the dealership here is pretty good, they know a lot more about the Sprints and Bonnies and Daytonas and Ducatis 'cause they sell more of 'em.

Reminds me a lot of the experience of finding kindred spirits on the IBMWR back in the old dial-up days (most o' you kids don't even remember modems, much less "dials"). Hard to find info, but through the miracle of technology, we find we are not alone in our obsession with our non-squid, non-gay-pirate-on-crack-fashion-plate, but definitely out-of-left-field choice of scooters.

You guys are the greatest source of information and non-information I've ever come across. I feel warm enough to ship a pair of fat bolts to the first person who responds to this message. I mistook the number on ebay to mean separate bolts and ordered two. Save someone five bucks, cuz I don't need them. Giving back to the community, all warm and such.
