I'm looking into getting a battery tender to keep me charged up thru winter. I see that there's both a battery tender and battery tender jr. Any thoughts as to which one to get (aside from price? - the junior is much cheaper and smaller)

I keep my bike in my apartment building's shared garage with no access to an electrical outlet, so I'll be pulling the battery and keeping it up in my apartment...

I looked at both the Tender and JR as well, I opted for the Tender Plus, after thinking it over.

Figured the Plus would give me a bit more usability, JR would have been nice to stick under the seat and travel with the bike. But The Plus said it would work on Gel batteries and such. /shrug My guess is they all would. In either case went with a Plus myself.

I guess something that small as the JR made me leary trusting current to be modulated through something so small... I have no other justifications for it other than leary and would use the tender on other things bar the Bike.

If you happen to run with a JR you will have to post up and let us know what you think.

I had the Tender Plus for quite a while until it decided to sh*t the bed on me. I replaced it with a Tender Jr. They both do the same job. The Plus will charge a low battery a bit more quickly than Jr. I think that's the only diference.
