Hey Boys, got something here.
Me and my buddy up here in the very corner of Northwest Indiana are making plans for a winding trip down to my dad's place in Slidell, Louisiana (just north east of Lake Pontchartrain) between March 10th to the 18th. It'll kinda twist along the Mississippi River (as best as the Midwest can twist :-D ). It'll be our first major trip, its about a thousand miles (roughly) and we'll do it anywhere between 2 to 3 days, depending on how fast my buddy's buell can go !!!

Anyhow, since some of you boys have been trippin' around for a lot longer than us: any comments or criticisms? Please, please, please we could use ANY pointers (hate to make our first one a credit card bummer- if you know what I mean!). Also we're totally down if anyone along the route would be interested in meeting up/ coming along etc...
Route 1 outta Chicago
Route 45 (by Paducah-ish, Illinois)
Route 51 (Union City, Tennessee)
Route 61 (Memphis)
Down into Lake Ponchartrain
Thanks guys, love this place!
Matt (and Graham)
