Its a cutting polish, I would only use it on really dull paint. I've never seen it in the USA.

Try Meguiars "Scratch X". this stuff is brilliant, but it is not as harsh on the paint work as a cutting polish would be.

I would not use it to refresh the knee cutouts as the scratches will be back in 15 minutes and you would have to grind layers of lacquer/paint off every week if you wanted to keep the tank in good shape.

And how many rubbing compound uses does it take until the undercoat will start shining through?

Maybe I would use it once before selling the bike, but not more often.
