I have a host of utterly irrational superstitions and rituals for all manner of activities. I never leave for a gig without a shot of Jameson's, for instance. And since egress from the Tin Box is generally via the Plywood Maintenance Facility, I tap the seat on both beasties every time I leave the house, whether I'm riding or not.
