Hey guys,
I don't know if anybody watches "Two-Wheeled Tuesday" on the Speed Channel or not, but I love it. It's great to watch the AMA events they show all day and then see the sport bike shows they have on at night.
The episode of "Superbikes!" that was on last night was profiling naked and RAT bikes, which was incredible because I've been watching the show since I got my speedy back in August hoping I'd see one on there.
All that waiting paid off last night. There were a couple of speedy's that had work done on them wheeling back and forth. It was just nice to see the speedy get some recognition for once.
Anybody else see that episode or watch the show?

I watched a buncha fuzz on my tv last night! Couldn't git the rabbit ears adjusted! :hammer: I've been wanting to catch the superbikes show, but I'm never at a friends house when it is on!

It's a really good show. You don't see much other than Japan, Inc crotchrockets on it though, but it's still interesting. Lot's of looks at stunters, self financed track racers, and sport bike clubs/rides. It's cool.

Saw the Atlanta one last night. I noticed one of the guys had a 675 Daytona. That Jason Britton is the man.

That episode was the maiden episode (making this airing obviously a repeat) but if you watch them all there are only three episodes I noticed that didnt display a Triumph product at some point or another the ones I didnt notice a Triumph bike (S3 or Daytona big or small) on are the NYC episode the AMA privateer racing and the Florida one with the zx-14's. (maybe 4..the female rider episode, I dont recall I was busy peepin' a@@es).
I watch it every week, I'm glad something like it is on. Many fuss and dont like it because its too heavily focussed on stunting and groups that showboat a tad once the camera lense hit's 'em and doesnt live at the track but for me it is what it is even with the A.D.D style editing and hope its the beginning of things to come that speak to the sportbike/streetbike riding community. I like Jason Bitton he seems like a cool cat and although a suzuki zealot sure is comfortable at 12-o'clock. I can only dream at having such skill and confidence at the clips... I think I'm too tall for stunting on these tiny bikes anyhow.

I try to catch that show whenever I think about it... some of the episodes are good- or at least have good clips in them.
Stunting is awesome, and there's a lot of real talent out there but when they get a group of 20 together and do it in public streets, crack fun at local enforcement, etc. its gets a little much and makes a statement to the "uneducated" rider who watches.
And that episode with the female riders; what was the point? Every comment seemed to be "even the girls...""not bad for a bunch of girls..." etc. To have a show simply dedicated to prove how females can ride isn't really needed. I love seeing a variety of riders on the road- but was it necessary to make that much of a statement?
However, at the end of the day I find myself watching it all the time :-D
