So I call the dealer to see if'n the beastie were gonna be fixed today an' yep, it's fixed. And now there's another problem - coolant leak from the plastic reservoir. Now, I never noticed that before an' I think I woulda, so who knows where THAT came from, but they're submitting yet another warranty claim an' it'll be another couple o' daze waitin' on an new plastic bottle.

Y'know, I should count my blessin's - it's all covered by the warranty, and at least I have der beemerschkooter to ride, but I really, really miss ridin' the evil little imp.

Well, lessee... they don't haff a Rocket, but they haff a Rocket III Classic (big sucka wit the floorboards). They also have a Thruxton, a yellow 955 Daytona, a Ducati Sport Classic 1000, every flavor of Monster, and an RSV Factory (unfortunately, they sold outta their entire allotment of 675s). And they still have a white 06 Speed Triple.

Or maybe they'd let me borrow a used bike - say, that red 999. Or maybe the 2001 R1 (blue, clean, 7,000 miles onnit).

Unfortunately, they all know I have another bike and don't need a loaner.

Sure they haven't overfilled?
Speedy has a nasty habit of spewing excess coolant if filled above minimum.

My complaint with the dealers is that they don't stock any parts for these bikes, if they say that the wiring harnesses are typically wearing there, why not order a couple to have on hand when some one comes in? Or some freaking fork parts maybe?!!!
