i just need to find an s3 dammit!! the thing that sucks is that it's winter pretty soon so even if i find one i won't be able to ride for quite a while. i'm hoping to find some deals over the winter hopefully. then maybe i'll just bundle up and go for a ride at -10 degrees!!

good luck on yer quest mnrider! I lucked up when I found my triple last year. It was late in the year also, actually purchased mine at the very end of Oct, but surely you will find a good deal soon enough. And there's nut'n like riding at -10 deg on your newly purchased S3! :-D

Tracker is vacationing in Australia, hunting for snakes with Legman.
I ain't contributed much on accounta I am still sittin' aroun' waitin' to git the English beastie outta drydock (been a week and a half with no Speed Triple) an' nothin' interestin' has been happenin' wit the Germanic beastie, aside from repeated disassembly an' reassembly in search of a very English sorta electrical bug.
Then of course there was the Flaming Redhead's Big Adventure.
And the band has two gigs this weekend - corporate party, and some bar in Chattahoochee (a town which is also home to the state mental hospital).
I just wanna git my Triple back, git the electrons flowing properly in the beemer, and go onna LONG ride.
There's a charity poker run Saturday. If the corporate gig don't go too late Friday night, I might join several other RAT folks who are plannin' to crash the Harley-fest an' class the joint up some. That's assumin' I actually regain possession of my Triumph by then.

Cheap,
We're all tired from helping you get to
Team Owner! :-D Tell ya what though...I need to pick up a bag for speedy, so I'll help ya out and lob a question out there!
Mnrider,
I saw a couple of S3s for sale on ebay yesterday. Sorry, don't have the links, but should be easy to find. Seemed to be fair deals if I recall.

My speedy's been out for a couple of weeks too, I have been riding a bonneville however. I like the bike, but the seat has to go, I can only stand it for about 2 hours. Last sunday I took the wife for a 5hour trip up and around Park City, we were dying to just make it home. I am fortunate to have the Bonnie considering that my dealer broke my fork. The part is due in today or tomorrow, hopefully I'll be on speedy this weekend.
Due to these delays I plan on learing a lot of the regular service stuff so I don't have to visit the dealer so much. I need some one like Devi close by to guide me - I can pay in beer. :-D
