How much fuel does it take to fill up on that 110 miles. maybe its just an eager fuel light.

I agree with limey, it's been pointed out many times that Triumph has the sensor set very, very cautiously! :hammer:

I run about 120 to the light, and fill up between 3.2 and 3.4 gallons... Do the math...

I really haven't checked mine that closely, but it does seem to be doing a bit better since I got a few miles on it (1400 now, week 7 of ownership). The first 500-600 I got right at 100 until the light, now getting a bit more.

Yesterday it fell back to about 100.....and I enjoyed every minute of the commute home :-D

I also have an 06 triple and I noticed that around 100 miles of mostly in-town travel that I tend to get my light to come on early. This usually happens when I perform hard stops, hard cornering or nose off the ground maneuvers. :-) I am getting approx 45 cruising on the Hwy and anywhere from 32-40 mpg in town depending on me, not the bike. I really fooled myself the other day and filled up when the light came on early. Totally full it only took 2.78 gal at 100 miles.

Like most on here, I get about 120 miles before the light comes on. When it was "new" (it still is) I was getting a little less mileage.

Coming back from Sacramento, screaming down the I-5 at about 85-90mph in 6th gear, I made it to 130 miles before the light came on. I stopped for some gas at 155 miles.

Hey thanks for the information, I'm going to go on long trip this weekend, so I'll check my fuel mileage on that. I've only owned my Triple about 3 weeks now. I traded my "03 Ninja after my wife divorced me for the '06 Triple it has the white paint job. I just love riding it. I love getting weird looks from the Harley riders because they think its a Japanese bike and its really British. Talk to you guys later.
