I've been using Rizoma rear sets for a while now. They're cool, but the problem is that the rear brake barely works anymore. I need to push the lever deep to make it brake and it's impossible to get the rear tyre to lock. I think the problem is that the brake lever doesn't push the master cylinder deep enough with the normal range of motion, just not enough leverage.

Has anyone noticed this too? Any bright ideas how to make it work?

The rear sets are a bit too high up for my taste. They're mounted on the lowest possible position. Is there easy way to drop them lower than the standard mounts?

Had you tried adjusting the length of the master cylinder push rod. undo the lock nut and it adjusts up and down. Just don't make it bind. :???:
