I'm still trying to get an MCJ flyscreen. Speedup.it does not carry the MCJ line anymore so my only options are to go direct to the manufacturer but I need a translator. Would someone who speaks italian mind making a phone call to MCJ to set up the sale and arrange for shipping ? I have their phone number and I tried to slip a fax through but the phone number on their website is a voice number only. I'll gladly pay for your trouble. Thanks.

Have you tried emailing them at the address on their site:

http://www.lineamcj.it/home.html

I've always found that Italian businesses are generally staffed with a good many English speakers.

I've tried dealing with them through email. It was ugly at first. Then they hired a secretary there that did a decent job. But they were spotty about replying to the emails at all.

I emailed them a couple months ago and they responded but that was the only response that I ever received from them. I replied to their initial email with the information they requested but they never did respond back to me. I tried to email them repeatedly over a period of several weeks and I never received a return response. There are several other members that have had a similar experience. This is very perplexing. I called the main phone number listed at the bottom of their web page and the receptionist only spoke italian so that did not work. I attempted to send a fax to that number also (thinking that it would allow fax communication also) but that did not work either. They have a very nice product and I want it badly so I'm trying anything I can to make a connection.

Thanks for your help. It would be great to have the wire transfer info but I would also like to have some confirmation from the other end before committing to the deal. It sounds like you have dealt with them before. I have some trepidation about conducting an open ended transaction but perhaps I could put enough information in notes attached to the wire transfer to ensure delivery even if I don't get feedback from them. Do you think this will work ?

Bulldog,

I had the same trepidation with them when I looked into it last year. I never ordered from them because I couldn't deal with having no guarantee that I would receive anything. If they took credit cards we'd at least have some recourse.

As for the bank details, they sent them to me in June of last year. I now see if a thread that you and Nunzio had in August (HERE) that the bank details are different than what I had. I would go with his because they're newer, but I would also confirm with MCJ before wiring the money (if you can get a reply).

When I was looking into it, there was only one person (on the t595 site) that had confirmed that they had ordered from them and got it successfully. I have now see a few others on this forum that have gotten their stuff successfully. It's still not enough assurance for me to send over $200+ without recourse, but it may be for you.

Regards,
Capt.
