i have the rocket might want to go to the s3. one reason being i am not very confident with the 2300 motor. there seems to be to many issues, stalling, outputshaft bearings, clutch slipping etc. i personally have idling issues and the bike makes a knocking noise in lower rpms. how is 1050 motor holding up? and how is acceleration on the s3? will i be happy with this bike?

If you want to blend in with the crowd, you probably won't be happy with a S3. (But you own a Rocket, so that's probably not the case.)

If you want to carve berms, rip through the woods, and clear doubles, triples, and tabletops, you probably won't be happy with the S3.

If you enjoy obeying all the traffic laws, prefer highways to corners, and need to keep both wheels firmly planted on the ground, you might not be happy with an S3.

BrianK - Hey mate, long time no see hehehe (If I'm assuming right and your from a distant forum land)

Mate I have both and they're both splendid, I am alot more aggressive on the speedy, its a reall demon....

Kinda a pity about the R3, the only thing on the S3 thats problematic is the brakes from what I've seen on this forum and thats fixed pretty cheap with some gixxer swap replacements.
