What lids are you guys wearing?

I have a Shoei Rf900 and I am needing to get a second helmet. I had an HJC and didn't think much of it.

Some of the Icon stuff looks good, but I haven't worn one.

What do you guys like in the $100-$300 range?

I wear an Arai, very comfortable. I do like Shoei and HJC.

Have to go with the Arai comments, I'm on my 2nd Rx7rr, that's one dept I actually don't go cheap in! :razz: Don't have a pic of just my lid, but here's what mine looks like... :-D

I have an Arai Signet (precursor to the Profile) and I'm really happy w/ it. Fit is obviously critical and the "long oval" shape fit my head well. The one downside is that all the high-tech cooling channels give me a bad case of helmet hair. That wasn't a problem w/ my older lower-tech AGV.

I'm currently running a black Shoei TZ-R Obelisk. Fits well, cools well, not too loud...and it matches my bike.

KBC has some decent lids for a second. $150-250 range

I have a black Shoei X-11 and a KBC kevlar VR-1 in black chrome that is very light and comfortable. The KBC FFR might be my next purchase.

I've owned Shoeis, Nolans, KBCs, Bells, Simpsons, Arais, and others. The KBCs fit my mellon well and some models have removeable interiors for washing them - a nice ability.

I have a charcoal grey Arai that's about 2.5 years old. I can never remember the model, but it's either a Quantum or Signet.
