As an autoworker, i just dont even know what to say about that. What do they want? There are historical records from hundreds of years ago, the indians used to call the L.A. basin the valley of smoke. Not a big fan of George Bush but if anything could push people right into his camp, this would qualify as one. Sorry if this thread does'nt make the most sense but i'am pissed. Notice on the article they did'nt mention toyota, bashing G.M. seems to be the in thing to do these days.

The CA governor drives a Hummer and I'm sure the legislators get carted around in Suburbans or other types of SUVs. Hypocracy. The car companies should just threaten to stop selling cars in CA. That would shut down the law suit pretty fast.

By the way, I'm going to sue CA for letting in and coddling all of the illegal immigrants and driving up my taxes to pay for them.

Have you seen photos of CA from the EARLY 20th century? lots of smog even then, and little to no cars. Hydrocarbon levels were even higher then - horses make LOTS of methane.

CA leads the nation in crushing cars. This allows companies to earn credits to polute.

CA is the state that forced the US to use MTBE in fuels and force out TEL (lead) - without any research into its harmfull effects. Now the CA ground water is contaminated with MTBE.

Nuclear powerplants are nearly non-existant on the left coast. Instead, the rest of the country sends them power - and pays higher prices due to their stupidity.

I won't even get into the Sacramento Valley and the water/flooding issues.

Tree-hugging, granola-eating, no-nuke, whale-savers have yet to let reality and facts stop them in any endeavour.
