Please see my ad in the classifieds. I'm gutted, but I have to sell and as soon as possible.

Greetings Captain.

I checked out your Speedy, and I may be interested. I must warn you though that I'm in no hurry......I've been looking around, comparing new versuses used. The only thing that bothers me is the miles, but you stated that you've done all the required maintanance on it.....so that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm in Tacoma. Are you in/near Seattle??? I've never heard of Wallingford.....must be a hidden community in the hills off of I-90!!

I'll have to check back with you in the next couple of weeks. If you still have it, we'll have to meet up!

Wallingford is in Seattle, north shore of Lake Union. Hopefully the bike will have sold by then but if not I'll send you a PM. Since the 12k service was done I wouldn't be too concerned about the mileage, the bike is in tip top shape. If it's still around in two weeks or so I'll send you a PM and you can come check it out and make me an offer if you like it. Like I said I'm gutted to have to let it go. I've owned a lot of bikes, including various Honda v-four 400s, an NSR250SP, and even an RC30, and of them all this is the one I'd ride until it died. I definitely want it to go to a good home where it will be both ridden often and well taken care of.

Sounds great!!! I'm currently looking right now, but to be quite honest with you, this is the only local used Speedy that I've found. Doesn't seem that too many in the Great Northwest are proud owners of such a beautiful machine! So, right now I'm tormented with deciding to go new or used.

So, shoot me a PM in a couple of weeks if I don't contact you before then. Good luck with the sale till then. She seems well taken care of.

Search the Portland Oregon Craig'slist, there are a couple there. Also bunches of good deals on Ebay right now on new ones.

Capt.,

Is there a differnece between a regular model Speedy and an SE, which i'm thinking is Special Edition. If so, could you tell me? I'm not too familiar with the '04 model.

Different "Capt." here, but the SE (Special Edition) came only in black and has a blacked out frame (the the 05+ S3). I think that was the only diffeerence. It was only sold in 04 (probably because they had already started making the black frames for the new model).

I believe the Capt(Rat, btw) is correct. Think the SE model just got the blacked out frame and swingarm. They really are sharp bikes. But now if they made one with a yeller frame... :-D

CaptainFlake,

Is it safe to say that your bike has sold? I've went through the entire classified section and I could not find your post. I was trying to figure out what you were asking for the bike, and I must of spent half of my day at work looking for it.....not that it's a bad thing going through this site all day..... :-D
