MCN (UK) came out yesterday and they had quite a big piece on the recal Triumph have just released for 06 triples / Daytonas - it concerns the rear brake where it bolts to the s/arm 'failing', so if you have an 06 and have received nothing from your dealer then I suggest you get it checked out ASAP.

Easy well to tell if you bike is an 05 or 06 model - the size of the oil cooler - the 05 (even if it's been registered in 06) has a larger cooler - think it's about a 10 row, where as the 06 has a smaller 4/5 row one.

Hope this is of some help.

Got a message from my dealer, two weeks ago already, concerning the bolt replacement. Has been done in the meantime.

I called Triumph at the number listed on the recall posted here and my Speedy was not involved

Call if you're not sure, don't rely on getting a notice.
