speedo cracking

anyone else see this problem? my speedo's plastic lense has a buch of tiny stress cracks maybe 4or5. I asked triumph if they can just rteplace the plastic lense and they can't the have to order a whole new speedo. I need to show them so they can get a warranty claim!

You are obviously going too fast....beyong the speed specs that the speedo can handle. Nice job!

My clock did the exact same thing - kind of a crazy cracking all around the edges of the glass.

Mine is being relplaced under warranty by the dealer. I think it's a known issue.

Had a 2000 zx6 that did that - dealer replaced it. Fitted double bubble screen when I got it back, left bike in sun and clocks ended up with a 'melt' mark across them where sun had been magnified through bend in screen - big f***in oops!!!
