Did anyone read this? I just browsed the mag.

There was a couple pages article about making speedy track worthy. Cutting down the weight, changing suspension and spice it up a bit. Looked good

They had switched to some expensive aftermarket suspension, zard full system with PC3 (why not tunebwoy?!), ridiculously expensive rims etc.

It was a close look at the LSL bike (the owner is connected to Hein Gericke in some way). I thought it was a pretty good article - I like PB for being a bit more objective and adult in their writing, compared to Superbike and Fast Bikes (I'll never buy another issue of either of those comics), while looking at alternatives to the mainstream bikes that usually feature in Bike, the only other mag I tend to buy/read regularly.

Even nicer than the Triple was the Roland Sands custom that was also featured in this issue (he rode it at Goodwood). Fabrication is beyond incredible and it looks fantastic.

A good edition and one that I'll hold on to for reference purposes

Any idea what kind of rims they were? I think they said the price is around 2000£. That's just insane.

PVM's are no where near that expensive, unless they had to be a one off set. For that kind of dough I bet they are full carbon fiber BST's, they are just shy of $4000usd a pair. PVM's are about half that.

Checked the mag last night and they were PVM forged (not cast) wheels, which cost £2K and weighed 3 kg less than the standard hoops - at least that's what the article says
