Sept 27th Mid-Ohio Novice Trackday

Who all is actually attending this event? I'll be there rain or shine. I'm just hoping my tires show up at least a day before so I can get them installed and scrubbed in.

I'd do a more advanced class, but I'd rather start out at novice to ease my way in and see what the instructors have to say about my riding. I'd rather learn proper technique and fix any problem areas now than find out the hard way sliding down the track.

If you want to meet up for a beer the night of the 27th I'll be in or around the Columbus area afterward and wouldn't mind meeting some local yokels. Definitely not going to ride home after riding my ass off all day.

I'll be there with my broken arm. My son is taking my place on the bike. This was the first time I didn't have to ask him twice to do something, he almost volunteered.

Getting instruction to start is definitely the way to go. As the saying goes: "practice doesn't make perfect...perfect practice makes perfect". I've been to several schools including the Kevin Schwantz school at Road Atlanta, and learn something new every time.

Where about in the Columbus area will you be staying?

I'll be staying in the 'gee that hotel doesn't look all that ghetto, might be a safe bet' hotel. Basically going with whatever is close and comfortable.
