Okay, so I've had my speed triple for two days..... in that time I have been giving it hell, including the odd wheelie or two (Almost every start)

Now I can wheelie the rocket pretty well when the wifes not around but jesus is the s3 a hard ***** to control in the air or what?

I must be doing something wrong, The last wheelie I did almost put me down, I keep landing croo'ked and front wheel bent.... whats the story?

Methinks you're probably yanking it a bit too hard. Wheelies are an art and the S3 is actually stupidly easy to wheelie well. You just need to start small with power wheelies in first until you get a feel for it. Don't try and go big right off the bat. You've on the had the bike a few days FFS.

I actually thought it was pretty good in the air. The only problem I have is when I point it slightly off angle on a long road with barriers on one side and cars on the other. Sometimes I drift a bit towards one or the other. Usually clears the lanes up for me though.

S3 is very easy and controlable during wheelies. You need to be really smooth, the S3 is a lot more responsive to weight shift than the Rockect 3.

Cover the rear brake and do start small. I did a huge 2nd gear standup this morning on the way to work.

operator error :-D
you must be getting all squirley in the air or something; possibly shifting you weight too much as some one else pointed out.
IMO this is the easiest bike i've lifted

My first one was by accident, I was shifting into 2nd and let the clutch out too fast it wasn't high by any means but I must have jerked it, cause the frint wheel kicked a little on the landing. I'm still taking it slow with them though. I've got a leaking fork seal and told myself i's wait till it was fixed to do any more. (4 weeks waiting for dealer now, it is warranty though maybe they think i'll pay them if they wait longer)
I wanna see pics of you wheelying your Rocket. Not that I don't believe you - I just wanna see it.

I try to scare myself very very often! I love to wheelie! Take it easy, in small steps! Always cover the rear brake.

S-3=Wheelie

This bike is soooo comfortable to loft, that I find myself getting into trouble. Today my girl slapped me on the back of my helmet for crankin' one up the highway onramp.

I try to behave, but,..........well you guys know how it is.
