Hey All,

Like a fool I dropped my boke over the weekend. It was only at one mile an hour in a parking lot. I cut left and hit the frount bake and it was all over.

Anyways, I broke my clitch lever. Since I have just replaced it and the bike wont start. There is barely any damage at but a few minor scratches on the housing and a turn signal cover. The rest is perfectly fine.

So whats the deal? I replaced the lever and the power comes on fine. I checked the clutch adjustment and even used a wrinch to make sure there is no way the clutch is not ingaged. Hit the start button and the starter is not even trying to turn over.

Is there a reset somewhere?

HS

it's gotta be the electrical wire that runs to the clutch lever. it's the same wire that won't let the bike start if you don't have the clutch lever pulled in. i've had to beat my clutch lever a few times before to get the bike to start. since then, i haven't had any problems.

Thanks bro,

Thats kinda what I was thinking too but on second inspection of the old lever I noticed a shim. Once I put the shim in the new lever it started right up.

Woot ! =P
