Mine should be here later this week...who is the TuneBoy guru that can give me some pointers? My bike is stock and I want to change the mixture map to target a 12.8/1 mixture...at least that's what I think I want to do. Any advice would be welcome.

Drop Wayne an email. I'm sure he could come up with something suitable.

I downloaded the software and tried it using virtual PC. It started up, albeit slowly. I have no idea if it would recognize the USB port once you got the cable and such attached. Of course it will not boot natively on a Mac OSX system.

I'm certain you could download the tunes and save them to a flash drive, but you'd still need a PC to hook up to your bike.

Suggestions:
1) Buy a nasty old laptop off of Craigslist for the singular purpose of loading your Tuneboy tunes.
2) Make friends with some local 15 year old game nut to do it for you.
3) Rent a laptop for a day from a local computer shop whenever you need to.

Good luck.

Ya, you don't need some crazy laptop to run Tuneboy. Just a USB compatible one. You can score one on ebay for nothing.

TB is great, lot's of maps available. The targeting of the AFR's is a bit more involved with TB as there are target ratios through the entire rev range. You'll see what I'm talking about when you get it. Wayne is definetely the man... He's been a bit elusive lately though... Seems no-one is getting emails. Usually he is right on top of things... CS is great though overall...

I just installed my new Zard full system. Worth every penny. Received the tuneboy a couple days later. I put in the 20103 tune. The bike seems to run pretty good, but the popping when rolling off the throttle is a little too much. It sounds great, but attracts too much attention . I emailed Wayne at tuneboy but haven't got a responce. Hey Avi8or, could you help me out and send me the tune that Wayne gave you? :-D

While I believe you can correct this with a different tune, you can take the low tech approach and put a piece of duct tape over the SAI port in the airbox.
