Hey guys,
I plan on buying an LED tail for my new (to me) 2001 S3 with integrated taillights. I want to to the DIY fender eliminator with sheet metal from Lowes or Home Depot.

Has anyone with a 97-01 S3 done this mod and can give some advice?

Can I take off the ugly black fender altogether? Or does it need to be cut?
